Thermal insulation materials in Poland: market analysis

The project, commissioned by a leading player in the market of thermal insulation, aimed at determining the size and structure of the Polish thermal insulation materials market, taking into account sales channels, regions and product categories. Our client wished to verify their position in the Polish construction market, but also to obtain detailed information on the competitive environment, brand awareness of their products among professionals along with their decision making process.
Our research was carried out using complementary qualitative and quantitative methods. The quantitative study was conducted using CATI interviews. A team of highly experienced PMR interviewers completed 400 interviews in two target groups: among construction wholesalers and construction companies dealing with thermal insulation. The qualitative study included several dozen in-depth interviews with large construction companies operating nationwide, as well as representatives of our client’s competitors in the thermal insulation market.

Thanks to the findings, the client was able to verify their business activities and improve their strategy for the next few years. The recommendations and insights delivered by PMR were a valuable source of ideas useful in planning further marketing steps, which will help the company in building a strong and recognizable brand which appeals to professional consumers.
