Research Project - medical and pharmaceutical market

Client's need

One of our regular clients, an international research agency, commissioned PMR to conduct a survey among veterinarians dealing with breeding animals on the subject of the most frequently used vaccines. The study’s aim was to learn and understand the expectations of Polish breeders and to understand the sales and distribution models of vaccines.

Our deliverables

During the course of the survey we completed over 40 CATI telephone interviews. Thanks to an efficient recruitment process we were able, in a very short time, to conduct a study among a particularly challenging target group – veterinarians dealing with breeding animals.

We used the resources of our medical database PMR Medical Panel in the recruitment process, which significantly reduced the time it took to reach such a narrow target group, and also reduced the cost of the recruitment process.

In addition, the interviews have been supplemented by respondents’ comments on the specifics of the Polish market of pharmaceuticals for farm animals.

Value for the client

The client received results which will allow them to enhance their portfolio and adjust the sales model to the needs of Polish veterinarians and their clients – animals’ breeders.

Information gathered in the course of the study, which included decision factors in the process of purchasing vaccines and expectations of pharmaceutical companies, will provide the client with comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies of the local market of medical products for breeding animals in Poland.
