Client's need

PMR team executed analytical project for one of the leading diagnostics equipment manufacturers focused on answering the question: what is the casual treatment and the path of patients with suspected severe systematic infection. The project was covering several national markets in Central-Eastern Europe.

Our deliverables

PMR Consulting and Research team executed a range of in-depth interviews (TDIs) with doctors specialized in a range areas engaged in initial and finale phases of diagnosis as well as with laboratory managers and technicians executing diagnostic tests.

Our important input to the project was advisory in methodology design and target audience design and adjusting it to local realities. Due to extensive experience in projects covering healthcare market and understanding of local healthcare systems, Research PMRers could precisely select medical specialties that were most relevant for the project as key in decision and therapeutic process.
Having PMR Medical Panel at disposal, we could execute the recruitment process effectively and reach relevant respondents in a relatively short time.

Value for the client

The result for our Client was the analysis of the various therapeutic paths of patient depending on type of hospital or clinic, were diagnosis is performed. The analysis was supplemented with PMR recommendations including both legal and casual rules followed by clinicians and laboratory technicians in their work. This input was critical for the Client to improve their communication policy to decision makers and influencers on the market and to decide upon building own sales team.
